Leader for S.C. running back
Travis Small is a running back prospect from Cheraw (S.C.) High School. Small, 5-9 and 188 pounds, now has two scholarship offers – Duke and Middle Tennessee State.
"Right now I have those two (big) offers," Small said. "Some smaller schools have offered as well. I am thinking about visiting Duke on Saturday.

"They are my top team. Duke is off to a good start and they are recruiting well. Coach (David) Cutcliffe is doing a real good job. They are going to change things around up there. Of course, you have to love the academics at Duke."
Cheraw is off to a 1-3 start. After winning their season opener they have lost three straight.
"It's been tough. We play Providence Day this weekend and then we start our region play. We have to get that swagger back and get back on track."
Small will probably wait until after the season to set up his official visits. He plays on both sides of the ball at running back and cornerback and is a four-year starter.
