Leader for Ivery

Lake City (Fla.) Columbia defensive tackle Dequan Ivery reports numerous offers, but he is still expecting more during his senior season.
"Syracuse, Louisville, South Florida, Georgia Southern, Southern Miss, FAU, FIU, FAMU, Bethune, and Arkansas have all offered me," Ivery said. "I know there are a lot more interested in me than just that."

The 6-foot defensive lineman, who has dropped a significant amount of weight over the summer to get down to 305 pounds has already planned one official visit.
"I know I am going to go to Louisville the first week of October for an official visit," Ivery said. "Other than that I really don't know right now."
At this time, Charlie Strong and company are in front for Ivery's services.
"Louisville is my leader," Ivery said. "I just love Coach Strong. I like everything that is going there. We talk good. I just really like them."
Before making a decision, the Sunshine State prospect is hoping to use his other four official visits to check out some other options.
"I know I also want to get to South Florida, Syracuse, Arkansas, and probably Georgia Southern," Ivery said. "I have to sit down with my coach and talk about everything before I set all that up."
In Columbia's spring game, Ivery recorded five tackles for losses and two sacks.
