Leader emerges for Kowalski

Macedonia (Ohio) Nordonia lineman Kevin Kowalski has one scholarship offer. He also says he now has a leader.
"Toledo has offered so I'm interested in them," Kowalski said. "And I'm interested in Illinois, Pitt, Indiana, and Bowling Green."

If the calls from recruiters are any indication, it might not be too long till Kowalski lands an additional offer or two.
"Quite a few coaches have called," he said. "Eastern Michigan, Toledo, Pitt, Bowling Green, Syracuse, Miami of Ohio, and Duke have called. Syracuse is another school I'm interested in."
Kowalski has seen a couple of MAC schools.
"I went to a clinic at Toledo," he said. "And I went to one at Bowling Green.
"I plan on going to Pitt's camp. I'm not sure about any others."
Kowalski is sure about a leader at this point.
"Toledo is my favorite right now," he said. "They are the ones taking a chance so far. They have said they want me."
The 6-foot-4 and 270-pound Kowalski has started at center since his sophomore year. He also played the second half of his junior season at defensive tackle. Kowalski will play tackle on both sides of the ball his senior season. Look for him to play on the offensive line in college.
