Lea makes the rounds

New Orleans (La.) Landry-Walker three-star defensive tackle George Lea has been busy on the recruiting front over the last few weeks and he is not done yet.
He took his first official visit to Washington State as the Cougars hosted the Arizona Wildcats. His visit to Pullman left a strong impression on the New Orleans standout.

"It went great," Lea said. "It was a little bit cold out there. I liked that the campus was very small and everybody knew everybody and it was a little town and the football program was great."
While he was in Washington he also had a chance to find out how he would fit in on the football field for the Cougars.
"Yes, they said I fit well in the three technique," Lea said.
Next up for Lea was a trip to Manhattan, Kan., to check out the Kansas State Wildcats. The defensive playmaker saw quite a few similarities between his first and his second visit.
"It was great out there. It was the same thing. Yeah, it was a small town. Great program," Lea said. "They want me to play the three tech too."
Between the two though, one visit was a little better and as a result one school has an edge on the other.
"Kansas stood out a little bit more than Washington, a little bit," Lea said.
Saturday morning he will fly out to Arizona State for his third official visit, and at this time he is considering all three options.
He is also keeping to his decision timeline.
"Between the end of November and the beginning of December," Lea said.
Lea is currently ranked No. 40 among the nation's 2015 defensive tackles and No. 35 in the Rivals.com Louisiana Preseason Top 50.
