Lea heads to Pac 12

New Orleans (La.) Landry-Walker three-star defensive tackle George Lea began his official visits a few weeks ago with a trip to Washington State. The visit to Pullman was followed by trips to Kansas State and Arizona State.
Following his trip to Kansas State, Lea gave a slight edge to the Wildcats, but he knew he had a visit to Arizona State ahead.

After his trip to Tempe, he decided it was time to make the call.
"I just committed to Arizona State," Lea said.
What put the Sun Devils over the top for the New Orleans standout defender?
"Everything," Lea said.
Lea was able to watch as the Sun Devils soundly defeated Notre Dame, and soaked in the atmosphere of the Arizona State campus. It did not take long for him to acclimate to the surroundings
"It was great," Lea said.
Two aspects of the visit really caught his attention.
"The weather and the programs," Lea said.
Lea is currently ranked No. 40 among the nation's 2015 defensive tackles, and No. 35 in the Rivals.com Louisiana Preseason Top 50 for 2015.
He is the 16th commitment of Arizona State's 2015 recruiting class, and he plans to enroll at Arizona State in January.
