LB Tongo adds an ACC offer

Naperville (Ill.) North junior inside linebacker prospect Osahon Tongo (6-foot-2, 223 pounds) has landed an offer on Wednesday afternoon from Boston College.
"My head coach (Larry McKeon) received a call from the coaches at Boston College late last week," Tongo said. "The coaches at BC told him that they were offering me a scholarship and that the paperwork would be in the mail early this week. I received the scholarship paperwork on Wednesday from Boston College."

Tongo talked about landing his latest offer from the Eagles.
"Boston College is moving to the Atlantic Coast Conference this year, and that's definitely an appeal for me. Boston College is a really good football program, plus they also offer a great education. I'm really happy about getting an offer from the Eagles."
Tongo is also hoping to make an unofficial to Boston College later this summer.
"My family and I are taking a vacation to New York later this summer, so we are hoping that we can spend a day on our vacation at Boston College for an unofficial visit."
Tongo in the meantime will focus on getting ready with his team this summer.
"I've camped at Northwestern already for a one-day camp, and I'm planning to camp at the University of Michigan for three days next week. Other than those camps, I'll need to camp with my team for several different events this summer."
So has Tongo started to sort through his college options?
"(Laughing) It seems like my favorites change by the week lately. I really haven't counted any schools out at this point. I'm pretty much still wide open right now. Once we get past the summer I'll start to hopefully narrow things down."
Osahon Tongo currently has scholarship offers from Boston College, Indiana, Kansas, Georgia Tech, Northwestern and Illinois.
