LB Smith has game speed

Linebacker Bryce Smith out of Lawrenceville (Ga.) Central Gwinnett still doesn't have an offer, but is getting plenty of college interest. Who is the 6-foot-1, 215-pounder getting interest from?
"He is getting heavy looks from Wake Forest, Colorado, Vanderbilt along with others including Boston College, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Auburn, Maryland, Tennessee, Florida and more," said Central Gwinnett head coach Bradley Warren.

Smith previously listed Auburn and Georgia as his leaders a month ago, but his coach feels he's wide open.
"I really don't think any schools are leading at this time. I believe he plans to wait it out for a while to see which school is really the best fit for him."
Smith registered 93 tackles, nine for loss and five sacks as a junior. He went on to be named first team all-county. What makes the linebacker stand out as a player?
"Bryce is a team leader and a real physical player," he said. "He understands the defensive philosophy and is rarely out of position. I know he has pretty average 40-yard dash times, but his game speed is phenomenal and he is quick going sideline to sideline. He really makes a lot of plays for our defense and is an immovable force."
Besides being a great player for Central Gwinnett, Smith is a good person too.
"He is a team captain named by his teammates," he said. "I think that really says something about him and his character when the other players on the team think enough of him to give him that honor. He also has very good grades."
Smith is attending the Nike Camp in Athens this weekend.
