LB Reddick visits NC State, claims first offer

North Carolina State played host to plenty of recruits over the weekend. One of those making the trip was New Bern, N.C. linebacker Kevin Reddick. What did the 6-foot-1, 215-pounder think about his visit?
"It was really good," he stated. "I liked the atmosphere there. When I arrived, they first showed us around by taking a tour of the school and athletic center. Then they introduced us to the coaches who talked to us about academics and all that. I didn't get to talk to the coaches too much, but it was a good trip and I'm planning to go to their camp on June 1st."

Lots of other colleges are looking at Reddick.
"I'm getting interest from Virginia, Virginia Tech, North Carolina State, North Carolina, Clemson, East Carolina, Michigan State, Penn State and Auburn," he said. "I've got one offer so far from East Carolina and I'm just waiting for one from the right school."
One college appears to be an early favorite for the North Carolina linebacker.
"I'd say Virginia is my top school along with Florida," he said. "I really like the coaching staff and players I've talked to from there. Coach Poindexter gets good with you and talks real cool with players. I also like the atmosphere.
"As far as Florida, that's has been my dream school I've always wanted to go to."
Reddick plans to make a visit to Virginia later this spring. He's also looking at the Shrine Bowl combine.
Reddick registered 110 tackles, three interceptions and three sacks on his way to all-conference and all-area honors.
