LB Poly OL lands first offer

Long Beach poly (Calif.) is annually one of the nation’s most talented teams and this year is no exception. The Jackrabbits should send another half dozen or so players to the Div I ranks and one player who just received his first scholarship offer is offensive lineman Justin Brown.
Brown, 6-6, 270 pounds and known on the team as ‘Big Country’ has very good size and definitely looks the part of a college tackle. He started as a junior for the Jackrabbits and has made big strides in the last year. Like many H.S linemen, Brown does need to hit the weight room hard to get bigger, stronger and more physical but has a chance to be a solid player at the next level.

“Utah just offered me,” Brown said. “I like them, it’s a good schools but I want to keep my options open right now and see who else might offer. I’m hearing from a lot of different schools including Notre Dame, Washington State, Cal, Arizona, Washington and Oregon. I’m enjoying the process right now and just want to see how everything plays out.”
Academically, Brown is very solid carrying a 3.5 GPA with a 1210 SAT score.
