LB Pittman holds one offer

Raleigh (N.C.) Leesville Road linebacker Brandon Pittman claims one scholarship to date. The 6-foot-2, 200-pounder is getting interest from numerous other colleges across the region.
"I've got an offer from Elon," he said. "I'm getting high interest from North Carolina, NC State, East Carolina and I just got a letter from Stanford."

With interest coming, does Pittman like anyone?
"I grew up an NC State fan and North Carolina is really exciting," he said. "I'm really good friends with Dana Bible's son and I've been to NC State's practices and have an early relationship with them.
"My family has kind of pulled me to North Carolina's side. Their program is getting better and I can come out with a good education if I go there. They play the same defense as our school too."
Pittman is looking for a few things in his future home.
"I just want a better education and a great football program makes it even more enjoyable," he said. "Location isn't a big deal. I've moved around a lot. I'm from Idaho and then I moved after three months to Panama City until second grade when I got to Cary, N.C."
Pittman put together a solid season last year posting 89 tackles, one sack, two interceptions, seven pass breakups and two fumble recoveries. He added three receptions for 45-yards and one score.
