Winston-Salem (N.C.) Mount Tabor star linebacker A.J. Nicholson ended up at the Tennessee-LSU game this past weekend although he was toying with the idea of seeing the South Carolina- Alabama game.
“The Tennessee visit was fun,” said the 6-foot-2, 232-pounder of his unofficial trip to Knoxville. “I also set up my first two official visits. I’m going to Miami on December 12th and to Florida State on January 10th.”
Nicholson also wants to take official visits to Tennessee, Notre Dame and maybe Georgia. He’s also still interested in North Carolina, the team he committed to this summer, and wants to take an unofficial trip to South Carolina.
“I don’t have a favorite right now,” he said. “It’s too hard to pick. These are all great schools.”
Nicholson has made 90 tackles so far this season in six games. He’s also forced five fumbles and registered five sacks.
