LB McNair is close to a decision

Three-star linebacker Tremayne McNair is inching towards a decision. The Jacksonville (N.C.) White Oak prospect is focused primarily on three schools and plans to decide soon.
"I'm pretty close to a decision in the next couple of weeks," he said. "I don't have a date yet. When I make a decision, I'm still thinking about taking other visits if I feel the need after that."

Before that happens, McNair plans to take a final trip on Friday to North Carolina.
Meanwhile, who is McNair looking at?
"I've narrowed it, but not to the point where it's only those schools," he stated. "I'm looking at Clemson, Georgia Tech and North Carolina.
"Any one of those schools is a great fit for me. I really like the coaches at all these places, but North Carolina has always been my favorite. Clemson has a really good program that's going in the right direction with Coach Swinney and Georgia Tech is in the middle of everything."
The No. 33 outside linebacker in the country claims Arkansas, Duke, East Carolina and Wake Forest are under consideration as well.
