LB Mason knows of five visits

Pittsburgh (Pa.) Penn Hills has been strong once again during the 2008 campaign and is positioned to win their conference if they can pull out a victory on Friday.
Because Penn Hills is anticipating a deep run in the state playoffs, four-star linebacker Dan Mason has been unsure of when he will be able to take his official visits.

Where he will go is a different matter. The 6-foot, 220-pound prospect knows where he will be taking those officials. It's just a matter of setting the dates.
"I'm going to try and take official visits to Penn State, Pitt, West Virginia, Virginia Tech and probably Michigan," Mason said. "None of them sticking out. I'd say all five are pretty even right now.
"I haven't even been able to take any unofficial visits or go to any games yet. I've been so caught up in practice and tied up with our season I haven't had a chance to go out to schools."
Penn Hills is now 3-0 in their conference and how they finish will determine their seeding in the state playoffs.
"I've been talking to Pitt and Penn State a lot," Mason continued. "I've been talking at least a little bit to all the schools that have offered me. I'm getting handwritten letters from all of them, too.
Mason is ranked the No. 8 prospect in the Keystone State and the No. 19 inside linebacker in the nation.
