LB Mason has three in mind for visits

Four-star linebacker Dan Mason has three schools in mind for official visits. Where is the 6-foot-0, 220-pounder out of Pittsburgh (Pa.) Penn Hills looking at heading?
"Everything is going good. I'm going to talk to coaches about scheduling visits," he said. "I'm looking at visiting Pittsburgh, Penn State and West Virginia so far.

"I do want to take all five visits, definitely. I still have two more to fill. Michigan has come through recently and has shown interest. I may take a visit up there."
Why does Mason want to visit these schools?
"These are the ones that have been recruiting me the most," he said. "I think those three are good places to go. I feel comfortable at those schools.
"I just want to go on these visits to talk to some of the players and see what type of people they are."
The No. 8 prospect in Pennsylvania wrapped up his season with a loss to Gateway.
"It was a good season," he said. "We dealt with injuries and faced a lot of adversity. We stepped together as a team.
"I don't know how many tackles I had, but I finished with 10 sacks.
"The big difference this year for me was that I felt like I influenced my team. I made my team better and made plays that set off a vibe for the rest of the team. I think I stepped up as a leader."
