LB Lewis is finishing up a huge season

Rivals250 linebacker Anthony Lewis out of Haltom, Texas concluded the regular season last Friday with the Buffaloes. The standout 6-foot-2, 235-pounder is proving preseason predictions that he is one of the top players in Texas.
"He finished the season with 135 tackles, five sacks and six forced fumbles," said Haltom head coach Kenny Perry. "He's ready to play right now and is a phenomenal talent physically as he is up to 235-pounds and he has all the right tools. I get calls all the time as everyone wants to put him up for defender of the year."

Perry confirmed that Oklahoma State seems likely to get the four-star prospect's fourth official visit and even said that Lewis is very big on the Cowboys.
"He hasn't told me directly who stands out or catches his eye," he said. "I can tell he really likes the Oklahoma State coaches a lot. The job they have been doing recruiting him has been very impressive."
No official word as to who Lewis is looking at for a fifth official.
In other Haltom news, little has been heard from star receiver Jermey Brent since September.
"All I can tell you is that Jermey got in some legal trouble and he is just waiting to see what happens with the case," Perry said. "He hasn't played at all this year, but from what I've seen he continues to work out. I don't know what's going on with Brent's recruiting either as everyone is waiting to see what happens next."
