Earlier in the week New Jersey linebacker Kaiwan Lewis picked up an offer from Florida, and now another school from the Sunshine State has jumped into the mix.
Lewis, the 6-foot-2, 227-pound prospect from Hammonton (N.J.) St. Joseph, is now claiming an offer from Florida State.
"Florida State just offered me," Lewis said on Saturday afternoon.
"Coach (James) Coley Facebooked me and told me to call coach Hudson. Then he told me how they felt and told me they wanted me, and that I have an offer there."
The Seminoles already rate highly on Lewis' list.
"I like them," Lewis said. "I'm interested in visiting them and learning more about them. It seems like a good opportunity."
Lewis will attend Virginia's spring game on April 2, and he will also take trips to BC, UConn and Rutgers in the near future.
All of those schools have verbally offered Lewis.
