Bolingbrook senior five star ranked outside linebacker Kyle Williams spent the weekend as part of the huge group of recruits making official visits to the University of Oregon. Many outlets were predicting that Bonecrusher would suddenly become overwhelmed by the Ducks, and while Williams certainly did enjoy his visit to Eugene, don't look for Williams to change his mind on his verbal commitment to the University of Iowa anytime soon.
"It was a really good visit overall" said Kyle Williams. "The campus and the facilities were really tight. Overall I liked it at Oregon alot. My host was linebacker Rob Hamilton, and he was a good guy. I really like the coaches and the players alot at Oregon, and that was one of the reasons why I made the visit to Oregon because of my relationship with the coaches. I went into the trip with an open mind, yet in the end I feel that I'm making the best decision for myself."
"I'm still solid with my verbal commitment to Iowa. I was able to see alot of great things at Oregon, but in the end I'm solid with the Hawkeyes."
Williams added that "I'm done with official visits. I'm going to focus on school now as well as winning a state wrestling title."
