LB Jeske receives his first call

Joliet, Ill. inside linebacker prospect Chris Jeske (6-foot-1, 225 pounds) from Joliet Catholic Academy has received his first call on Saturday from the University of Notre Dame.

“Notre Dame was the first call I received," Chris Jeske said. “Several coaches have said in letters that they will be calling me, and Notre Dame called me on Saturday."

"I talked to Coach (Greg) Mattison on Saturday for about a half hour. We talked about different things, mostly we talked about the usual recruiting things. I know that Notre Dame is very interested in me, and Coach Mattison expressed that on the phone. Coach Mattison said that he will be in school later this week."

"My coach (Dan Sharp) said that several schools are planning to be in school this week, and besides Notre Dame I'm not sure who's coming."

Chris Jeske currently has scholarship offers from Northwestern, Wisconsin, UCLA and Kansas.
