LB Jackson has top choice

Junior inside linebacker Tony Jackson has been a varsity starter for Columbus (Ohio) Central Crossing since his freshman year. Jackson played on defense that season, and started at both linebacker and running back during his sophomore and junior seasons.
The 6-foot-1 and 230-pound Jackson made 137 tackles and rushed for 800 yards as a junior. However he transferred to Galloway (Ohio) Westland in January and will play for the Cougars his senior season.

Despite the change of schools, recruiters know where to find Jackson.
"I went to a Pitt junior day," he said. "And I went to Cincinnati and Ohio University junior days.
"I'll probably get over to Maryland.I'll definitely get to Boston College in the summer. And I'll get up to Northwestern in the summer, and Michigan."
However Jackson has the Buckeyes at the top of his list.
"Ohio State is definitely my No. 1 choice," he said. "They have a great program. They have a good engineering school. It's close to home. Their defense is always one of the best.
"Ohio State, Maryland, Virginia Tech, Toledo, Cincinnati, Northwestern, Illinois --those are my top schools."
