LB Humphrey favors two

Jacksonville (N.C.) Northside linebacker Tevin Humphrey is still waiting for his first offer but the 6-foot, 225-pound prospect already knows of two schools he has a high interest in.
Humphrey, the cousin and good friend of five-star defensive end Donte Moss, attended a couple of camps this summer that gave him a clearer view of things.

"I went to camps at NC State and Maryland," Humphrey said recently. "I did real good. I did better at the Maryland camp, but I did good at the NC State camp too.
"I talked to the coaches -- that's what I went for. I like how laid back the campuses are. I know Owen Spencer from NC State because I played against him."
Humphrey has also been hearing from North Carolina, East Carolina, and another prestigious program that had him in town recently.
"Florida State had me come and visit the school about three days ago," he recalled. "It went real well. I liked it a lot. It was nice, the atmosphere and everything.
"A whole lot of schools have mentioned offering. They mostly want to see film of my first two games and my progress.
"Drill-wise I've been working on getting quicker feet so I can get out in the flats better. A lot of colleges want me to play outside linebacker so that's important. I've been doing a lot of squats and cleans because leg strength is important in football."
