LB hearing from Terps and others

Linebacker Deandre Burnette out of Ashburn (Va.) Stone Bridge is just starting to receive some recruiting interest.
The 6-foot-1, 235-pounder has already gotten mail from schools including Maryland, Michigan and Kent State. He also hopes to see interest from West Virginia, North Carolina and Virginia Tech.

"They are all close to home and easy to get to."
This season Burnette helped Stone Bridge to an 11-1 record and a berth in the regional finals. He went on to record 65 tackles as he was named all-district linebacker and honorable mention all-region.
"We did pretty well for the team we had," Burnette said. "As for me, I could improve and get faster and stronger for next year and hopefully I can be the best team leader I can be, and we can win some games."
So what does he want out of a school?
"I love college football and good coaching," he said. "I'm just hoping to see more letters from schools and I hope I can end up going to a good college with a great coach."
As for this spring Brunette is looking at attending Kent State's junior day.
This summer he is planning on attending summer camps at Maryland and Michigan.
