Atlanta Booker T. Washington linebacker Jarvis Jackson has been home for about five minutes and he's already received two phone calls from reporters.
And he had good news for both of them.
"I committed to Georgia this weekend," Jackson said. "Man, does word travel fast. I haven't had time to put my bag on the ground."
Jackson said he picked the Dawgs this weekend for a number of reasons, but mainly the lure of playing in the SEC and for a national title contender.
"You can't beat Georgia," Jackson, who is 6-foot-2, 205 pounds, said.
Jackson is ranked as the nation's No. 32 outside linebacker. He also considered Indiana, Louisville and Mississippi State.
