LB has educational visit

Bedford, Ohio linebacker Brandon Kelly had an impressive visit to Boston College this past weekend. So how does it affect his list of leaders?
"I really enjoyed it," said the 6-foot-4, 220-pounder. "It was my first official visit and BC did a great job. I was really impressed with the academics and the support they offer there. They're going to make it hard on the other teams."

Kelly was hosted on his visit by Indiana native DuJuan Daniels and Canadian defensive back Emmerson Phillips. He and the other Cleveland-area recruits talked on the plane ride home about BC.
"We talked about playing there together and what an opportunity it would be," he said. "BC offers early playing time and great academics and in two years, guys like me, David Patterson, Reggie Smith and the rest could give them one of the best defenses in the country."
So where do the Eagles stand now?
"You can keep Stanford and Wisconsin at high for now and move BC to medium with Duke," he said when asked how his favorites should read. "I have Duke next weekend, Minnesota after that (Nov. 29) and then I finish with Stanford (Dec. 6) and Wisconsin (Dec. 13). Stanford hasn't offered me yet so I don't know what's up with them yet."
Kelly wants to major in engineering in college, but might change those plans.
"BC doesn't offer engineering, but they do have math, computer science and a bunch of majors to do with money like finance," he said. "That's the first thing me and my parents did. We met with the Dean of all the incoming freshmen and talked about academics. That was impressive."
