LB Hanson has five favorites

Linebacker Michael Hanson showed why college teams are pursuing his services this past weekend.
The 6-foot-2, 217-pounder had two interceptions for touchdowns for his Teaneck, N.J. high school team, which is now 4-3 on the season.

“We going to keep getting better as a team,” Hanson said.
For the year Hanson has 75 tackles, three interceptions and four sacks. And how is the three-star linebacker's recruiting going?
“I’ve got an official visit set up for Indiana on Dec. 3,” said Hanson, who has 15 offers. “I’m looking forward to taking the official visits and getting more of a feel about the schools. It will help to see them for myself and see what it is like. They are all about the same right now. I’m interested in and want to visit Louisville and NC State in the future. I also like Maryland and Wisconsin.”
Hanson will make all five of his official visits before making a decision.
“I’m looking for a school with diversity, a great football program where I feel comfortable,” Hanson said.
The New Jersey product is ranked as the No. 17 inside linebacker in the country by Rivals.com.
