LB Green enjoyed Michigan weekend

North Chicago (Ill.) junior outside linebacker prospect Kevin Green (6-foot-2, 213 pounds) has been drawing plenty of rave reviews from his performance at last Saturday's Michigan Nike Camp. Did Green's unofficial Friday visit to Ann Arbor and the campus of the University of Michigan also draw rave reviews from Green?
"I made the trip up to Ann Arbor last Friday for an unofficial visit," Green said. "I wanted a chance to check out the school, the facilities and the campus before the Nike Camp on Saturday."

Green, who landed his latest offer from Toledo late last week, talked about his impressions of his unofficial stop at the University of Michigan.
"I had a chance to talk with Coach (Andy) Moeller on Friday, and I really enjoyed getting a chance to talk with him and the other coaches at Michigan. I also had a full campus and facility tour. Everything at Michigan was really nice. I liked the campus and the facilities quite a bit, and the Big House is just amazing. The coaches from Michigan seem really interested in recruiting me."
Green also came away with a positive impression of the Nike Camp.
"I really wanted to do better overall, especially in the testing phase. I really liked the different drills and the speed training. I liked the one on one portion the best. I really haven't played linebacker that long, so I was able to learn quite a bit about the position at the camp. I felt the most comfortable with the one on one drills."
Green has drawn some recent calls.
"I've gotten phone calls recently from Toledo, Illinois, Notre Dame and Michigan State."
Kevin Green current has scholarship offers from Toledo, Purdue, Minnesota and Bowling Green.
