LB Green busy with recruiting process

North Chicago, Ill., star Kevin Green registered 13 sacks from his outside linebacker spot during his junior season. And while he may get his first shot on that side of the ball in college, offense can't be ruled out.
The 6-foot-2 and 213 pound Green doubles as a running back and gained 1069 yards last season.

The recruiting process has kept Green busy.
"I went to Wisconsin, Illinois, Notre Dame, Purdue, Northwestern, and Michigan for junior days and unofficial visits," Green said. "I went to camps my sophomore year at Wisconsin and Illinois.
"I'm going to Iowa's camp June 4. And I'm going to camps at Notre Dame, Purdue, and Ohio State. Those are for sure. And I might go to some others too.
"I'm looking at all the schools that have given me an offer. And I'm also looking at Georgia Tech, Iowa, Ohio State, Notre Dame, and Louisville."
Asked who has offered a scholarship, Green said, "Bowling Green, Purdue, Minnesota, Ball State, Navy, Toledo, Kansas, Western Michigan, Akron, and Duke. I have 10 offers.
"Out of the ones that have offered, Purdue is the only one I've been to.
"I've had calls from Iowa, Notre Dame, Illinois, Akron, Toledo, Western Michigan, it's hard to remember all of them."
