LB Green adds new offer and more

North Chicago (Ill.) junior outside linebacker prospect Kevin Green (6-foot-2, 213 pounds) has added his 7th scholarship offer last week from the University of Kansas.
"Last Thursday the University of Kansas made an in school visit," Green said. "The coach from Kansas (John Regan) dropped off the paperwork for a scholarship offer with my head coach."

Green talked about landing his latest offer from the Jayhawks.
"It's the Jayhawks. They play in the Big 12 conference and they have a great school academically. I've been following the basketball team forever, and I know that the football program has made some good strides over the last few years. It's great to land an offer from such an impressive school."
Green has also been drawing more in school visitors.
"According to my head coach (Mike Grenda) both Iowa State and Alabama have made recent in school visits. I was pretty floored when my coach said Alabama is interested in me. You just don't hear about the Crimson Tide recruiting up here in Chicagoland very often. Alabama has a ton of tradition no question and that would be a school that I would be very interested in. Also Georgia Tech has been sending me more and more hand-written mail and they said in some letters that they were impressed with my performance at the Michigan Nike Camp."
Green is also starting to straighten out his summer camp plans.
"I'm looking at camping this summer at Iowa, Purdue, Ohio State and Michigan State for now. Those four are pretty well set. I'm also looking at getting out to a few more one-day camps."
Kevin Green currently has scholarship offers from Kansas, Navy, Ball State, Toledo, Purdue, Minnesota and Bowling Green State.
