LB Grant visits UNC

Rivals250 to watch linebacker Curtis Grant made an unofficial visit this past weekend. The 6-foot-3, 222-pounder joined a talented group of visitors down in Chapel Hill.
"It was a good trip to North Carolina," he said. "I was down there with a couple other prospects, Caleb Taylor and DaQuan Romero. It was good, I hang out with Caleb all the time."

Grant had made the trip to Chapel Hill before for a 7-on-7, but this was his first visit with the coaches.
"I liked it, it was a nice place," he stated. "The people were friendly, it was real southern style. There is nothing wrong with that.
"I met the coaches. They've got a good staff. I like Coach Davis, he's a real cool guy. We got to hang out with the players and most were real cool. They kept it real. I hung out with Quan Sturdivant and Greg Little. They talked about how life is down there and how Coach Davis is real cool. They get to talk to him one-on-one.
"I did meet with their assistants as well. From what I saw in practice they do a lot of good technique stuff. I think they are going to have a real good defense next year."
More visits are expected for the Virginia prospect.
"I'm going to Florida and Clemson in a couple weeks, a week or two," he said. "I'm going to Virginia Tech, but I'm not sure when. I believe whenever their spring game is. I've got so many dates planned."
