LB Fortt has two favorites

While four-star linebacker Khairi Fortt is quick to point out there's plenty of time between now and his decision, he's not admitting that a pair of schools are at the top of his list.
The nation's No. 23 prospect is poised to have a busy July and that could cause things to change quite a bit.

"Tomorrow I'm going to Rutgers for two days to spend time with the players and coaches," Fortt said on Saturday afternoon. "I'm going with my best friend, a receiver at the school. They're looking at him, too.
"Then on July 2, this Thursday, we're going to Tennessee as a family trip. We're going to visit them. We'll spend four days there just doing the same thing we did at Rutgers. It'll be some time with the players just to see what life is like over there.
"I still have to go visit Georgia on July 18 for a one-day camp over there. Then July twenty-something I'm going to the Gridiron King 7-on-7 in Florida at Disney World. I got invited to that and I'm gonna just go visit the University of Florida while I'm down there. I've talked to Urban Meyer a little bit so I'll check them out."
Fortt said he wants to narrow his list to six schools by the end of the summer. Two schools will definitely make that list at this point.
"Penn State and UNC will definitely be in the mix," he said. "They're my top (schools) but I still have to visit some others, like Georgia."
Fortt is ranked the No. 2 outside linebacker in the nation by Rivals.com.
