LB favors hometown team

Greg Hickman is a three-star linebacker prospect from Tampa, Florida. Hickman, 6-1 and 240 pounds, has racked up 35 tackles in four games for Tampa Bay Tech. They are off to a nice start at 3-1.
"Things are going pretty good," Hickman said. "I guess they are like I expected. Right now everyone is playing pretty good. Right now I think I am playing the best I have ever had. I am on top of my game up to this point."

According to Hickman he has scholarship offers from USF, Western Kentucky, Florida International, Marshall and Purdue.
"I am pretty happy with what I have with these offers. I hope I get more. If I don't I'm okay with that. Teams like Michigan and FSU are recruiting me pretty hard. If they offered that could change things because they would be near the top for sure."
If the Seminoles or Wolverines do not offer Hickman then the team to beat could very well be the hometown Bulls.
"They are probably at the top. I am cousins with Lindsey (Lamar) and really talking to him about USF. He's playing a lot. I am also cousins with T-Rex (Terrence Mitchell) as well. We would like to go to same school together. USF is a school I feel real comfortable with. I am planning on going to the Cincinnati/USF next week."
"Right now I want to visit the schools that have offered. I have seen FIU and I am going to the FIU/Western Kentucky game in two weeks.
"FIU was pretty nice and I really liked it down there. I like the campus and the coaching staff is good. I have a connection with that staff, like I have known them for ever."
