LB Earls Has Clear Favorite
Linebacker Shomari Earls is close to making a decision. It might just come on December 7th as the Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. linebacker is set to take an official visit to Rutgers.
“They were the first school to offer me and I like the Northeast,” said the 6-foot-1, 210-pounder. “I also have some family up there and might end things on my visit if I feel there is early playing time available.”

Earls also has offers from NC State, North Carolina, Central Florida and Southern Florida as well as serious interest from Boston College and Iowa State.
“If I don’t commit on my visit, I might take two or three more trips,” he said. “I would say I like Rutgers, BC and NC State the best.”
Earls runs the 40-yard dash in 4.5-seconds and is averaging about six tackles per game.
