LB Divitto nearing new offers

Ramsey (N.J.) Don Bosco Prep linebacker Steele Divitto is still sitting on offers from Akron and East Carolina. While he likes both schools he's hoping more schools jump into the mix.
In a recent interview Divitto said he is hoping his summer camp tour helps that list grow.

"I've gotten a few camp invites. I've been talking to a bunch of schools a few times a week, too," he said. "I talk to Central Florida a few times a week. Then there's the University of Florida, Boston College, Penn State and Rutgers."
Thus far the 6-foot-2, 207-pound linebacker has had a chance to visit Rutgers, Boston College and Penn State.
His team plans on attending a four-day camp event at Boston College in the middle of June, and he thinks he will follow taht up with camps at Rutgers and Penn State.
"Some of the schools recruiting me run a 4-3 defense," he explained. "When I played linebacker this year I was mostly on the line of scrimmage. Schools just want to see me a few yards off the ball. They want to see if I can move around.
"That's one reason I went to the Rivals showcase (in Connecticut). I wanted to show them I can move around in space and I felt I did a pretty good job."
Divitto said he does not have a time frame for his decision. He plans on waiting a while to see what schools offer.
Does he have any favorites?
"I would say the front runners are probably Boston College, Rutgers and Penn State," he said. "I just want to keep looking around, though. I haven't visited Florida yet. I've visited Central Florida and I like them too."
