LB Coleman lands his first offer

Princeton (N.J.) Hun School linebacker Donald Coleman landed his first offer recently. The 6-foot-0, 210-pounder picked up the scholarship from the ACC.
"I got an offer just over a week ago from NC State," he said. "That is my first offer.

"I was expecting a smaller school to offer first. I don't know too much about NC State. I have watched their last two games against North Carolina and Miami. They've played pretty well and became bowl eligible."
Is Coleman planning to visit there?
"I have talked to the coaches and I may be able to make it up this weekend, December 5th for my visit. That would be an official."
NC State isn't the only school showing interest in the two-star prospect.
"Right now South Florida, Connecticut, actually the whole Big East and then Duke and Iowa," he stated. "I'm originally from Michigan, so I like the Big Ten. Iowa likes me, that is the only school showing interest from the Big Ten."
What does Coleman want in a college?
"I just want good academics first and a good football team," he said. "I want to play I-A football, that is why I went to the Hun School for postgrad. I like NC State since they have offered first, but I want to see what the coming weeks bring."
Coleman already has the grades for the clearinghouse and is currently considering January enrollment as a possibility.
Coleman posted 70 tackles, one interception and two sacks this year for the Hun School. He added 800-yards rushing and seven touchdowns on offense as well.
