LB Coleman has a clear favorite

Pittsburgh (Pa.) Peabody linebacker Jaylen Coleman has verbal offers from Pitt and Toledo plus interest from too many schools to list.
Despite all that interest Coleman, a 6-foot-1, 220-pound linebacker, has a clear favorite.

"Pitt's my favorite," Coleman stated emphatically. "I love Pitt."
The Panthers are in a good position now but that could be subject to change.
"I was thinking about making an early decision but I've decided to wait it out," he continued. "I'll probably wait until my senior season now."
Other schools that have shown interest include Penn State, Nebraska, Wisconsin, West Virginia, Rutgers, Maryland, Michigan and Michigan State, among others.
"I'll be going to Pitt again on March 29. They want me to come down again since they've offered," he said. "Then that night Toledo has their game so I'll probably go to that.
"I'll go to West Virginia on April 16 and I'll be going to Wisconsin on April 24. I'll go to NC State on April 25."
Wisconsin is the school that Coleman believes may be closest to offering him that hasn't already. The Badgers have kept in regular contact with him. Joe Rudolph has been assigned recruiting duties on the Badgers' staff.
What does he think of the Big Ten school?
"Go Badgers!" he laughed.
Coleman said Wisconsin would rate high on his list, but reiterated that Pitt is his top choice.
Last fall at Peabody, Coleman registered 90 tackles and an interception while forcing two fumbles. Offensively he rushed for around 700 yards with three touchdowns.
