LB Coleman discusses his second official

Linebacker Donald Coleman out of Princeton (N.J.) Hun School took his second official in two weeks this past weekend. The 6-foot-0, 210-pounder made his way to Iowa.
"It was a nice visit," he said. "They really shocked me, Iowa City is a nice college town. The football facilities are nice and I like the whole coaching staff. They impressed me.

"The first day I got there I met all the coaches and went to a basketball game. Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore were there. I left in the third quarter, but Iowa beat Iowa State. It was a big-time rivalry game."
At night, Coleman hung out with his host, Jason Semmes.
"It was good, I went to high school with him," he said. "It's a bonus that he is there. It's good to know someone already, but honestly I'll make new friends. He told me about the place and it was nice."
While on campus, Coleman took in practice too.
"I watched one practice and they were going in shoulder pads and shorts. It was intense and good."
Of course, the two-star prospect met with the coaches as well.
"I talked to the strength coach and he explained what they do," he said. "I talked to Coach Wilson. He showed me film on how I fit in with the system which was good.
"Then I met with Coach Ferentz on Sunday with my family. I talked to him about the program and how I liked the visit. He's a really stand up guy."
Coleman was joined on the trip by his teammate at Hun School, Nolan MacMillan. Is there a chance the two want to play together?
"I think Nolan and I would like to play together, but it's all about what is the best fit for each of us."
What is next for the Jersey prospect?
"I don't have anything set up," he said. "Minnesota wants me on a visit. I've got to see what comes through school this week and talk to my dad.
"Minnesota is a good program and they seem to have a pretty good coaching staff. They like me a lot and I'm interested. I am considering it.
"But I may possible decide this week. I've got to get with my coach and my father."
