LB Clement will take visits

Although he's been a Maryland commitment since the summer, Westville (N.J.) Deptford linebacker Jeffrey Clement will be taking a couple of official visits to compare. Where will he go?
"I'm taking official visits to Boston College and Purdue," said the 6-foot-2, 231-pounder. "I visited Maryland on Dec. 10 and it was nice, I had a good time. I am still somewhat committed to Maryland, but I need to compare and I have a chance to see some other places."

Clement, ranked as the No. 23 player in New Jersey, is interested in both schools for the same reasons.
"They offer good academics and they both want me to be a regular defensive end in their defense," he said. "I prefer to play with my hand on the ground and Maryland wants me to be a standup defensive end, which I'm not as comfortable with. I'll know more about where I'm going after I take my visits."
Clement is being recruited by Keith Willis at BC and Gary Emanuel at Purdue.
"Both would be my position coaches as well so that's important," he said. "I'll see what happens."
