LB cancels visit with Buckeyes

Ryan Brown has cancelled one of his remaining official visits and
pared his list down to three.
"I've cancelled my visit to Ohio State this weekend," he
said. "My recruiting coach told me that they've pretty much used up all their
scholarships at my position, so they I decided not to waste a trip up there. He
understood, too, so it probably turned out for the best. I'm glad they were up
front with me."
Brown, a member of the Rivals.com
Southeast Top 100 team and the
No. 24 inside linebacker in the nation, now turns his focus to three schools.
"It's going to be Clemson, South Carolina or Florida,"
he said. "I'm still going to visit Florida on the 31st, so I'll be able to
narrow it down after that. As of now, they're all about equal."
Brown (6-2, 235, 4.5) wrapped up his senior season at
Berkeley HS with more than 100 tackles and three interceptions.
