LB Caldwell is about to take visits

Charlotte (N.C.) Independence is home to one of the top prospects in the country, DeVonte Holloman. He has a number of teammates that are also getting looks including linebacker Taylor Caldwell. The 5-foot-11, 215-pounder is on the verge of heading out on a trip with Holloman this week.
"I'm hearing from Clemson, North Carolina, ECU and Louisville," he said. "This weekend I'm supposed to visit Michigan and Notre Dame with DeVonte. I am planning to go on that visit."

Clearly schools are looking at Caldwell. Does he like anybody?
"I really like Clemson," he said. "I've been there more than once. They have good running backs and I like the environment at the games. They sell out all their home games and the fans are still cheering even if they are down three touchdowns. I think I could commit if they offered."
Caldwell went on to discuss what he wants in a college.
"I want to be an architect or engineer," he said. "I also want to stay close to my family and just play football."
The Carolina prospect plans to head to the Nike Camp at Chapel Hill and a camp this summer at Clemson.
Caldwell posted 115 tackles, five interceptions, eight sacks and five forced fumbles as a junior last year.
"I did really well, I was in the paper every week last year," he said. "I played mostly linebacker, but this fall I'm going to move back to running back full time."
