"It's all happening so fast so I'm just taking it all in," the 6-foot-2, 206-pound Bowen said. "I'm not trying to really think about which ones I like right now. I'm just happy this is all happening."
Some schools have left a lasting impression on Bowen.
"The Alabama offer really caught my eye because they're a great school," he said. "Michigan, Michigan State, South Carolina, some of the schools from the SEC caught my eye. I'm also really interested in the Big Ten and Penn State too."
Bowen has been in contact with coaches from a number of schools.
"I have been communicating with Penn State coaches and they want me to come up so I can see the school and the facilities," Bowen said. "I have talked to almost all of the Penn State coaches and I really like them. I've talked to the coaches at Alabama a lot. I'm starting to build relationship with the coaches at Oklahoma, Tennessee and South Carolina. They all want me to come on a visit. Staying near home won't really be a factor. It'll more be about finding a place that feels like home, a place that I fit in and am comfortable."
Bowen is close to scheduling at least one visit.
"I'm probably going to go out to Boston College soon," he said. "I'm trying to get that scheduled on March 22. In the spring I'll figure out what other schools I want to visit."
It sounds like offers will continue to flood in for Bowen.
"My coaches tell me that a lot of schools are interested in me," said Bowen. "I heard that Clemson is really interested in me so they might be offering soon."
Some of Bowen's other offers include Kansas, Maryland, North Carolina, Rutgers and others.
