LB Blake names two more leaders

Interest has been picking up for Harrisburg, Pa. linebacker Shariff Blake. The 6-foot-2, 210-pounder was impressed with the junior day to Pittsburgh, but at this time two other schools are also in good position for Blake.
"Recruiting is going well," he said. "I haven't gotten any offers yet, but I am getting interest from Pittsburgh, Ole Miss, Notre Dame, Virginia Tech, Penn State, Florida and others.

"I'd say I like Michigan a lot although they haven't shown much interest yet. I really just like their team. They've got a big stadium and I've heard really nice things about their school.
"I also like Virginia Tech. I've heard really good things about their strength and conditioning program. I also like how the campus is a little quieter, that means it's not as big of a distraction for me which is good."
With so many schools showing interest, what is Blake looking for out of a school?
"I would like to go to a place where I can fit in and get my education," he said. "I want a good business program. As far as a location, it doesn't matter that much to me."
This spring Blake plans to participate in the Nike Camp in Baltimore. He's also looking at heading to summer camps at Michigan, Penn State and Virginia Tech.
The 2008 linebacker registered 90 tackles, 13 for loss, 12 sacks and two interceptions on his way to all-conference honors as a junior.
