Blake Antzoulatos took an unofficial visit to UCLA this past weekend.

He saw the Bruins take down Arizona State. And since he’s been talking a lot with the UCLA coaching staff the 2019 three-star linebacker from West Hills (Calif.) Chaminade was definitely watching closely.

“UCLA was wonderful,” Antzoulatos said.

“It was great to see them get a big win as they have had a rough season with injuries so it was great to see them get the win with all the adversity they have been facing. They have been in constant contact. I talk to coach (Scott) White a few times a week. So the relationship has been growing and feel really comfortable with direction it’s headed.”

So far, Antzoulatos has landed offers from Colorado State, Nevada and Oregon State. He said the Bruins have been talking to him for a long time and an offer could be close.

If it comes, that would be a big deal early in Antzoulatos’ recruitment.

“They said they just wanted to come watch me live, but (the coaching staff) has not been able to attend games, as they have been so busy in the season,” Antzoulatos said.

“They didn’t even get to the players’ games they already offered. So now that the season is over for us, i think it will happen in the next few weeks or days. The way the conversations have been I couldn’t really see it not happening.”

As for other interest, the West Hills Chaminade standout said Cal has been reaching out along with Northwestern, Arizona, Boise State and Stanford.
