“I went to Michigan State last Friday for an unofficial visit," Ryan Bain said. “The visit went really well, and I basically liked everything about the school."
Bain was given the full treatment while in East Lansing, and Bain gives some details about his unofficial visit.
"I was glad that I had a chance to sit down and talk with the coaches at Michigan State in detail. I really like Coach (John L.) Smith quite a bit. He's a great talker and motivator, yet he also listens to you as well. Michigan State is recruiting me as an inside linebacker, so I was able to talk to Coach (Mike) Cox who's the linebackers coach. Even if they decided to play me on the defensive line, I'd have no problems playing for Coach (Steve) Stripling. I like the coaches at Michigan State."
"I was given a full tour of the campus and the facilities at Michigan State, and I was impressed with everything. The facilites are great, and the strength program is also very solid. I'm hoping to coach someday on the college level, so I really liked getting an inside view from the coaches at Michigan State. I was also able to talk with an academic adviser, and I also was able to tour the academic support center for athletes."
Bain will spend today (Monday) at the University of Wisconsin for an unofficial visit.
"I'm heading up to Wisconsin for an unofficial visit today, and then I think that I'm done making visits for the summer. We start doubles in two weeks (August 11th) and I might not be able to fit anything else in, but if I can I might check out Minnesota."
