“I basically liked everything at Iowa," Ryan Bain said. “I was there last Friday, and I was really impressed with everything at Iowa, from the facilities to the campus. Iowa has one of the nicest facilities I've seen, and I also liked the separate weight room area for the football team."
Bain, who already has an early scholarship offer from Oregon, also had several talks with the Iowa coaching staff on his visit. "I was able to talk to several different coaches at Iowa, including Coach Aiken (defensive line coach) and I liked all of them. I also was able to spend time with Coach (Kirk) Ferentz and we had a good talk. I came away with a really good feeling about Iowa and the Iowa football program."
Bain also will continue to hit the road this week during his spring break. "Today (Tuesday) I'll be going to Notre Dame to check out the campus and a practice. This weekend I'm also heading to Nebraska to make a visit."
