“It feels really good to be drawing all of this interest as well as all of these offers" Ryan Bain said. “I called Coach (Rob) Ianello today after school, and he told me that the Badgers were going to offer me a scholarship, and that they sent out the paperwork today. They said I should be receiving the paperwork tomorrow via Fed Ex."
"I made a junior day visit to Wisconsin and I really liked it in Madison. From the campus to the facilities, Wisconsin was very impressive. As far as Wisconsin and the other schools I received offers from, I'm really just starting to look at the entire picture, from academics to the football side and social life."
Bain also is planning an early summer unofficial visits of several schools, starting in early June. "I really want to see what a lot of these schools look like and what they have to offer. I'm planning on seeing Wisconsin, Nebraska, Colorado State, Iowa State as well as Oregon during the summer." Could these schools be called early favorites by Bain? "No, I'm really in no hurry at all to make any decisions. Some of the schools that I've received offers from I'm familiar with already, but the schools I talked about I've never seen or I want to learn more about. I'm planning right now to wait until after the season to make a final decision."
Ryan Bain has scholarship offers from Oregon, Iowa State, Purdue, Indiana, Colorado State, Kansas State, Michigan State, Nebraska, Louisville and Wisconsin.
