LB Angerer talks camps and more

Bettendorf, IA. inside linebacker prospect Pat Angerer (6-foot-1, 215 pounds) has begun to hit the college camp circuit this summer, and Angerer has also landed his first Big Ten scholarship offer.
“I received an offer from Indiana University last week," Pat Angerer said. “Indiana had been very interest in me during May, and the coaches called my head coach and informed him that the Hoosiers were sending me the scholarship paperwork in the mail, which I received."

"I know that Indiana has a relatively new coaching staff, and I've heard nothing but good things about the campus and the facilities at Indiana. The coaches were really excited about the direction the football program was heading when I talked to them in May. I'm planning to make an unofficial visit to Indiana on my way back from the Penn State camp later this summer."
Angerer also made his first college camp stop recently to Iowa State. "The Iowa State camp was pretty fun. I was able to get a lot of reps in, and it was good to be able to talk to the Iowa State coaches in person again. I really like the staff at ISU, and the camp I thought was a very physical camp, which is what I'd hoped for in the ISU camp. It felt really good to be able to put the pads on and to hit someone again. It also was great to go to a camp at a school that has already offered me, it allowed me to really be loose and to let it all hang out at the camp."
Angerer also has plenty on his agenda this summer. "On Tuesday I'll be at Iowa for a one-day camp, then I'm also camping at Wisconsin. I'm also camping this summer at Penn State, and after the Penn State camp I'll be making an unofficial visit to Indiana."
