LB Angerer is ready for Nike Camp

Bettendorf, IA. inside linebacker prospect Pat Angerer (6-foot-1, 215 pounds) plays soccer and runs track this spring, yet don't be fooled folks. Pat Angerer is a football player, and Angerer is pumped about performing at this Sunday's Nike Football Training Camp in Iowa City, Iowa.

“I'm really looking forward to the Nike Camp on Sunday," Pat Angerer said. “I've been training pretty hard and getting ready for this camp, and I'm looking forward to being with and competing with so many other great players. I'm pretty pumped about the camp on Sunday."

Angerer has received his first call during the May evaluation period. "I received a call from Coach (Dan) McCarney at Iowa State last night. We had a good talk and we talked about my recruiting as well as my summer plans. I'm very excited about having an offer from the Cyclones and I like like the coaches at ISU."

Angerer is also drawing several college coaches to his school this spring. "The Iowa coaches made an in school visit today, and so far Iowa State, Northern Illinois and Western Illinois have made in school visits."
