LB Adibi Still Open

Hampton (Va.) Phoebus linebacker Xavier Adibi is getting more and more interest as each week passes. Is he still remaining open?
"Yeah, I don't even have an official visits set up yet although some teams have talked about dates," said the 6-foot-3, 215-pounder. "Virginia Tech, Tennessee and NC State have all talked about certain dates, but nothing is solid yet."

Adibi said that Tech has been talking about Dec. 13 which seems to be their big visit weekend, Tennessee has talked about Nov. 29 and NC State has been inquiring about their home date against Florida State. Tech and NC State fell from the ranks of the undefeated this past weekend.
"Yeah, I watched the Virginia Tech game because my brother is there," he said of Nathaniel Adibi, a Tech defensive end who blocked a punt in the Hokies 28-21 loss to Pitt. "That was a tough loss. I don't know how to explain that one."
In addition to Virginia Tech, Tennessee and NC State, Adibi lists Georgia, Maryland and Miami among his favorites. Miami is the only one yet to offer.
"My coach just sent out film to Miami, so hopefully they'll offer soon," he said. "I want to take as many visits as I can to make sure I look at everything. All things being equal, Virginia Tech has the slight edge because I know them the best and my brother is there, but that's not going to be why I choose a school. There are many other factors."
