LB Adams talks PSU offer

Pittsburgh (Pa.) Central Catholic has a long history of producing talented football players and David Adams is looking to carry on that tradition. The sophomore linebacker picked up his third offer on Saturday when he visited Penn State.
"I talked to coach Pry and coach Shoop at the beginning of the day," said the 6-foot-2, 225-pound Adams. "Coach Shoop told me what I wanted to happen was probably going to happen later in the day. Coach Smith told me earlier in the week that they were going to offer me, I just kept it quiet."

The importance of receiving an offer from an in-state school is not lost on Adams.
"I was extremely honored," he said. "Penn State is just one of those special places. I can't wait to be back up. Who knows, me, Petrishen, and Hamlin might be teammates again in a few years.
John Petrishen signed with Penn State in the 2015 class and Damar Hamlin is a member of the Rivals250 in the 2016 class.
Adams will likely check out at least one more school this offseason.
"I don't have any scheduled right now," said Adams. "Virginia said they want to get me on campus.
Adams, who already holds offers from Temple and West Virginia, thinks Pittsburgh could be the next school to offer him.
