Layne talks latest offers

Since ranking as one of the top performers at the Detroit Rivals Camp in late April, Cleveland (Ohio) Benedictine 2016 wide receiver Justin Layne's offer list has grown considerably.
An offer from West Virginia immediately followed Layne's performance at the Rivals Camp, and he added three more in the last week from Miami, Michigan and Pittsburgh.

"I added Pitt and Michigan this week," Layne said. "Miami happened later last week. That came as a surprise."
The Pitt offer came early this week after one of their assistant coaches visited Layne's school.
"They came to my school and mostly just talked to my coach, but they offered me and told me to keep working hard and getting better," Layne said. "I really don't know about Pitt too much. I followed them a little bit, but really didn't expect this from them."
The offer from Michigan was the most recent addition and that came through on Wednesday.
"The receiver coach came and they said they liked my speed and my size," Layne said. "I am more familiar with Michigan than I am with Pitt, more familiar with their coaches and some of their players. I used to run track with (class of 2015 Michigan commit) Shaun Crawford."
The 6-foot-3, 170-pound Layne has only visited Michigan State and Ohio State thus far in the recruiting process. He plans to schedule visits with Miami, Michigan and Penn State this summer.
