Lawson updates his recruitment
Very little has been heard from Roxboro (N.C.) Person Senior offensive guard Casey Lawson. The 6-foot-4, 280-pounder holds offers and has taken one unofficial visit in recent weeks. What's the latest?
"Nothing much has been going on, I've just been working out," he said. "NC State was the last school I visited."

How was the trip?
"It was pretty good, they've got good practices and I talk to their coaches every now and then, I have a verbal from them."
Lawson is reluctant to name leaders at this time.
"I don't really have any yet, but I will soon," he said. "I'm not going to cut my list, I'm just going to mention a top five."
In the meantime, Lawson confirmed plans to head to a few camps this summer.
"I'm going to NC State, North Carolina and Wake Forest's camps coming up."
With visits on the horizon, what is he hoping to see on these trips?
"I just want to get a good vibe with the coaches, players and the school."
Lawson earned all-conference honors as a junior this past season.
